FRANCIS BACON is a semi-autobiographical short narrative film which chronicles the day in the life of a teenage girl, Liz, who reconciles with her place in the world after dropping out of her undergraduate creative writing program after a heated discussion with one of her professors regarding her writing style. During the course of the film, Liz realizes that she is learning more about the world outside of school through her various interactions with a variety of people than she would have if she stayed in her creative writing program.
